I read fanfiction from whatever I'm binging at the moment. I still get urges to write Stargate fic and probably will when we do a rewatch. 

I never quite could get my head around shipperwars (remember those heady days, are they still a thing?), mostly cause I will read and write anything. I prefer femslash, but pretty much anything with female characters is my bag. I have written a few m/m fics, including that time I wrote Jack/Pete (Stargate SG-1) to piss off some shippers and to prove I could. I don't read m/m. I'm not overly interested in men (except, Robert Downy Jr, Jeremy Renner and Cullen from the Dragon Age series) .

I like rare pairings, odd pairings, cause I like the challenge of making it work and believable. 

Once I wrote some Kathy Reichs book!fic for my friend Mel. I met her through livejournal through a shared loved of Stargate. We wrote a series of AU fics together in the Stargate universe and I used to text her fic. She's been my best friend for years and is now my son's godmother. She just left after a visit actually. 

I have vague memories of writing Star Wars fic when I was 15 but I think it was self insert fic as a depressed teenager.

Ship wars... urgh. Never understood them, just glared from the sidelines at idiots fighting over fictional characters and making death threats at real people. Quoting Dean Winchester, Monsters I get, people are just crazy.

My Stargate muse still wakes up every now and then as well. If you get around to the rewatch and end up writing fic you'll have at least one faithful reader.
