 So I only managed 3683 words in January.

I was doing well, and I had really gotten a good 2.5k on a fanfic done with an end in sight when I ended up in the hospital. 

You all know why but it you missed it, basically my gall bladder was necrotic.

I'm trying to get back into it all without overdoing it, I'm not back at work yet (this week or next week hopefully) but I'm determined to finish this fic and write some more on my queer lady of the lake so I can start a new Welsh myth to queer up.

I'd like to write three or four of these queer re-telling of Welsh myths and try to get them published by one the Welsh presses. 

Dream big right?

Mine are not going great. 0 words in January and just under 600 so far in February. Ah well, onwards and upwards!

I've been poking at editing, but I feel my productivity is pretty low.

The only good thing I can think about "necrotic gall bladder" is that it's an excellent excuse for not meeting your goals!

given everything I would say that 3k+ words is a massive achievement! Be proud!

Please write your queer Welsh myths so that I can read them!!

Writing is... going, I guess. I'm juggling too many projects and not getting much traction on any of them. (I did write 2500 words the other day, now that I think about it. It was a very long sex scene, which ought to be fun but in practice is exhausting to write.)
